We provide complete start to finish training for personal and professional working animals under the titles Service Dog and Therapy Dog.
Service Dog Training
Services We Provide Training for:
- Mobility Assistance Dogs: Trained to perform physical tasks that help handlers with movement impairments, balance, and stability. Along with retrieving dropped items and opening doors
- Autism Service Dogs: Trained to perform active tasks to assist a person or persons with ASD navigate daily life safely and independently.
- Allergy Detection Dogs: Trained to detect allergens that are harmful to the handler in effort to prevent life threatening allergic reactions. Along with search & retrieval of medical supplies during emergency.
- Hearing Dogs: Trained to assist deaf and hard of hearing individuals by physically alerting them of environmental sounds such as doorbells, smoke / CO2 alarms, phone calls, and alarm clock.
Therapy Dog Training
We provide training for three different applications of therapy dogs:
- Therapeutic Visitation Dogs: Personal household pets that visit public facilities such as nursing homes, schools, and hospital.
- Animal-Assisted Therapy Dogs: Dogs who learn the ability work along side health professionals as part of formal treatment plans to improve a patients emotional, cognitive, social, and physical function.
- Facility Therapy Dogs: Trained working dogs that partner with professionals to provide targeted therapy, comfort, and skilled tasks in environments such as schools, hospitals, and municipal offices.
All dogs and handlers will be required to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam and a Therapy Dog certification exam as part of conclusion to our course.
How to Get Started!
After your first initial phone call with owner and trainer Ben Murphy, if he believes the dog / you and the dog are a good fit for the desired service and training the dog will do a full one day evaultation to determine if the dog is a responsible, safe, and realistic fit for the desired job.
When the dog passes the evaluation Ben will explain a training course designed around the lifestyle, home environment and working environment the dog will be living through. Along with the cognitive and physical tasks the dog will have to learn in order to provide the desired treatment / service. Every course is client and dog specific and planned across one of the three training course timelines found below:

Rate: $7,000 (2 payments of $3,500 before each B & T session

8 weeks of board & train

8 weeks of board and train
Rate: $8,500 (2 payments of $3,500 before each B & T session)
16 Week Medical Course
16 weeks of board & train + 8 weeks of sessions and situational testing with Ben.
